BELTLINE URBAN MURAL FESTIVAL
This mural was part of the second ever BUMP festival and was inspired by recurring images in my dreams.
It shows a person making a request, and receiving nourishment from nature. My friend who had recently became a mother modelled for the figure.

ENVIRONMENTAL & SOCIAL INITIATIVES
FJÄLLRÄVEN
Gold leaf, acrylic paint and some recurring dream motifs now live on these functional backpacks.
Along with a pack by my friend
Mike Hooves, these were displayed in Fjällräven's 17th ave display window during Calgary Pride. They were auctioned off to customers with all proceeds going to charity.
We picked the Skipping Stone Foundation for their support for newly arriving queer and trans kids who gained asylum to Canada.

ESTABLISHMENT
The Establishment Brewery asked me is I had any ideas for an anniversary label.
They wanted a reference to their home brewing beginnings, and that time they rose above the literal Calgary floodwaters to become the full-scale operation they are today.
I love local brews almost as much as brewing in my kitchen, so I drew this image of a contented brewer defying the elements with an offering held aloft.
I hope it honours the work every creative person does in transforming struggle into beauty.
Let me propose a toast:
In the storms of life
may the only drowning
be your sorrows 🍻
BASS COAST
This mural glows in the dark!
It imagines the mountains as entities overlooking this magical arts and culture festival in BC, Canada.
The art team was fabulous to work with and made sure my UV black lights were making this piece glow all night long.
